199 Miracles was started in Ethan Samuel Blosfield’s room at Seattle Children’s Hospital in the winter of 2023 by Allison & Eric Blosfield. During Allison’s pregnancy they were told that Ethan would not survive long enough to be born and were offered terminations on multiple occasions, all of which they declined. Allison and Eric knew they were facing impossible circumstances but remained determined to find Joy in the midst of the many trials they were facing and those they were about to encounter.

Against all odds Ethan was born in December of 2022 & despite his numerous health challenges he was the smiliest, giggliest and most joy filled baby that many of his providers had seen. In his 199 days on this earth Ethan brought more joy to this world than most people can dream of bringing in a lifetime.
